Brian Hopkinson, Charlton & Cribbs, South Gloucestershire Council candidate

Brian has lived and stood for local development in Patchway and surroundings for over two decades. He is a South Gloucestershire Councillor. Brian is the Treasurer of Charlton & Cribbs Conservatives. In Brian’s word, “Patchway, Cribbs & Charlton Hayes is full of amazing people. It is said by some that Patchway is a good place to live, I want to help make it a great place to live. I have the experience of being a District Cllr for 12 years and have served on two Towns plus a Parish for similar period. I will fight for urgent youth work improvement in Cribbs, Charlton and Patchway. Open spaces must be developed in our area to allow children, adults and elderly good access. I want to change the manner in which residents often view their local council.”

Cllr. Ken Dando, Patchway Coniston

Ken Dando, Patchway Coniston, South Gloucestershire Council candidate

Ken is a South Gloucestershire Councillor representing the Patchway ward. Ken believes that all day parking in Coniston Parade car park and local road by Aztec west employees  is making life a misery for local residents and patients trying to visit and the Coniston Medical Practice and local shops putting them at risk of closing. Patchway is not an overflow car park for Aztec west employees this must stop and to this end I am working with officers of South Gloucestershire Council also parking by Patchway Hub staff  taking up shoppers parking at Rodway Road Shops is making life difficult for local shoppers this is also on my list. It is many years since our roads and pavements have been properly  sweep up and cleaned just litter picking is not good enough we deserve better especially when under the Labour controlled  Patchway Town Council we pay the second highest Town Council rate in South Gloucestershire.  Patchway’s Conservatives Councillors have been instrumental  in improving Patchway’s sporting facilities in Scoot Park  we will soon be installing a multi use games area (MUGA)  and more improvements are on the drawing board.

Conservatives Councillors will strive to bring about the improvements you have ask for because we are here to serve and we know money is difficult to come by so we promise not to waste it. Patchway has a new town clerk and a part time financial  officer and we now have full confidence in our new officers.

Ken can be reached by phone at 07860 181197 and email atKen.Dando [at]
